Our article PALMELLATO is a classical vacchetta leather made in Tuscany full vegetable tanned.
The PALMELLATO is made on high quality cow shoulders of french origin.
This leather is oily and fattened with a special grease called “SEGO”, a mixture of oils and animal fats that we realize at our tannery according to the old recipe.
The PALMELLATO is dyed through and finished with bright aniline colors in order to create a nice double tone look and beautiful transparency.
This item is rolles by special cork rolls in order to create a particular texture to the leather with a special look.
We can produce PALMELLATO from 1,0 mm up to 3,0 mm and it is suitable for all kinds of leather goods and belts. For belts we can realize also a waxy rasin finishing on the backside of the leather.
The PALMELLATO has a natural matt shiny look and it will develop a nice patina over time and use, so the product made with PALMELLATO will be unique and iconic.
