The Burri article with its eccentric and extravagant look is presented as a mix between the tradition of vegetable tanning and the search for alternative designs and new processing methods.
Certified as entirely vegetable-tanned leather, this article is made on top quality bovine shoulders of French origin.
The main feature of the Burri article is that of being “double-sided” since the leather is treated not only on the grain side, but also on the flesh side. This process is the result of continuous studies in the new technical possibilities of leather finishing.
The flesh side is printed in different designs and this print in turn creates a particular effect on the flower side, thus creating a unique and extravagant look.
The Burri article is drum dyed and dried naturally in our drums which gives the skin a washed out and vintage look.
While the side of the full grain is finished with bright and natural anyline colors that gives the skin the classical transparency of the vegetable tanned leather, the backside is also carefully treated to be easily used in unlined products.
The Burri article is available in the thicknesses: 1.2-1.4 mm / 1.4-1.6 mm / 1.6-1.8 mm and 1.8-2.0 mm.
Choosing the Burri article means understanding the union between the tradition of classic vegetable tanned leather and the innovation of new processing methods that make this leather even more exclusive and iconic.
The Burri article is ideal for the creation of various unlined products such as bags, belts, small leather goods and even for footwear.
