Vegetable sustainability
We are founding members of the Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale, which safeguards and certifies the production of vegetable-tanned leather in Tuscany. The “Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Toscana” trademark is granted only to those who comply with the Technical Production Regulations, which define the product, require that the key stages take place entirely in Tuscany, and establish specific physical and chemical parameters.
The Consortium provides a guarantee tag with full supply chain traceability. Through a usage license, the tannery’s clients can apply this tag to their finished products.
